Key Take-aways from GATE 2016

Hey fellows, I know you all might be pissed with the S3 session of GATE 2016 exam and so was I. After all most of us left our jobs, dropper our one year and enrolled ourselves in some prestigious GATE preparation institutions for getting into top IITs and may be IISc (i should probably not take this name, for all might angry with this name :D ). After great hardships (or hard work), mind stressing, patience, practice, perseverance and blah blah (idhar udhar ki baatein vagarah vagarah) we (most of us) were unable to deliver it today. So is it the the end of our world ?? Here are some key take aways from today.

As some of us see outcome/output of GATE exam a do or die situation, it is not !! Is it the waste of money?? it is not !! Is the world over for us ?? it is not !! Yes, you read it correct. The place where we stood a year back are we at same position as we are today? probably not. We are far better than that. We have cleared loads of concepts which confused us in our past, which now can help us crack all future exams. We have got big gun - UPSC ESE coming up. Prove you mettle in that exam, apply for additional PSUs who recruit through their own exam (i will post a list regarding that in near future).

Important take away : You saw today that questions asked today were purely hybrid or multiplexed with all types of concepts. :D We never followed exam this way. We should rather go to so much depth, such that the questioner fails to even frame such a question that we are unable to crack.This guy rightly said on fb :

Takeaway 2 : Though my heart aches right now. I feel like crying, as it might relieve the wounds of today but i am not. Instead I take it as punch on my face, as a mirror of mistakes i might do in future. So take it this way : Better make mistakes now rather than in future.

A very important rule for All Guys having suicidal tendencies : Please Please care for your family, they are the guys who will be with you whatever goes wrong in the world. Your bad score in an exam isn't a certificate of your failure in life. Just think of making your parents and family proud. Work more hard and make their life blissful.
